Flames of War Tournament (Friday)

Sign In: 11:00 AM
Round One: 11:30 AM – 1:30 PM
Lunch: 1:30 – 2:00 PM
Round Two: 2:00 – 4:00 PM
Round Three: 4:15 – 6:15 PM

There is room for a maximum of 24 players.

The missions for this event will be Bridgehead, Dust Up, and a version of Blind Domination modified for Version 4 https://www.dropbox.com/s/twe5tdu5ca00b … n.pdf?dl=0. The updates in the More Missions packet will be used for victory conditions.

This event will use the following mobility value system to determine who can attack and who can defend.
Planes and observer teams = 0
A unit consisting entirely of gun teams or heavy weapon teams = 0
A unit containing at least one infantry team = 1
A unit containing at least one wheeled or halftracked vehicle = 2
A unit containing at least one fully tracked vehicle = 3
Transport attachments are to be considered a separate unit for this process.

Compare your mobility value to your opponent’s. The higher value of the two forces Attacks, while the other defends, in the event of a tie, roll off. The higher die roll chooses whether he wishes to be attacker or defender.

In addition to the mobility rules, this event will use the city fighting building rules from Enemy at the Gates, and Iron Cross for multi-room buildings.

Your army may consist of as many formations as you like, but you may not have more than one of the same formation. Armies are limited to 3 Command Cards, but these may be used more than once if permitted by the card. Armies must be no more than 60 points in total. This event will allow the listed books and their accompanying Command Cards:

Afrika Korps
(90th Light Africa)
Armored Fist
Avanti
Fighting First
Iron Cross
Enemy at the Gates
